BR Community Mock Draft: St. Louis Rams Select...

The Buffalo Rumblings Community Mock Draft rolls along, with the No. 6 overall pick coming at you right now...

With the sixth overall pick in the BR Community Mock Draft, 'Fernando brazil' and the St. Louis Rams select Oklahoma State wide receiver Justin Blackmon.

"I'm sure the top player on Jeff Fisher board is Trent Richardson," proclaims Mr. Brazil. "If he's there, no way the Rams pass on him. Fisher just loves to run the ball. Steven Jackson is aging, and Fisher will love have a workhorse like Richardson for years to come. With that said, Blackmon is the obvious pick."

Much more from the GM after the jump. The Jacksonville Jaguars and GM 'silverstreak3k' are now on the clock; remember to send your picks to buffalorumblings@gmail.com.

"He's a playmaker and will help Sam Bradford get back on track," Fernando says of Blackmon. "They really needs wideouts, but if Steve Smith can get back to his Giants form, they will have a solid tendem in Blackmon and Smith.

"Don't be surprised if the Rams select Michael Brockers or Dontari Poe here," continues the GM. "If Fisher thinks one of then will be really special, I believe they will pass on Blackmon. Fisher refused to give Vince Young weapons year after year before drafting Kenny Britt in the late first round three years ago. Also, his defense was great with Albert Haynesworth in the middle, but tok a giant step back after his departure.

"Since I think Fisher learned how good it is have a guy who can dominate outside (like Britt since his second season)," Fernando concludes, "Blackmon is the pick, but I don't think it's a slam dunk like some people believe. Fisher's Titans played with receiver tandems like Brandon Jones and Drew Bennett, old Eric Moulds and Roydell Williams, and Justin Gage and Nate Washington. He was able to win with those guys because he will run all day if allowed. His quarterback will be a game manager. He maybe can still draft a receiver like Stephen Hill with one of their early second rounders. I will repeat: if he thinks Brockers or Poe have Hayneswoth-esque potential, he will solidify his defense first and improve his offense after that."
