The Buffalo Bills signed two free agent pass rushers this off-season. Mario Williams and Mark Anderson were brought in to generate pressure on opposing quarterbacks - but before they can harass the likes of Tom Brady, they're taking each other on in a friendly off-season battle of words.

The two played together for one season in Houston. After a team workout on June 19, Williams fired the first salvo when he dropped this gem on his former Texans teammate.

"Well, when you're only 210 pounds, you can't really do it like guys like me do," the 6'6", 290-pound Williams joked about Anderson's pass rushing moves. "Thumbs up to Mark. It's tough for him. He's a little dude. It works. It definitely worked from last year."

Williams later continued: "As long as he focuses on the little things that he needs to do, as far as cleaning up stuff that he knows that he needs to work on, it's fine with me. He can do whatever he wants. He can do back flips if he wants."

Anderson recorded ten sacks for the New England Patriots in a limited role as a pass rush specialist. Not one to back down from a fight, the 6'4", 255-pound Anderson responded.

"We will see when it is all said and done," said Anderson. "It is going to be a fun competition, and we are both competitive guys. We are just going to feed off of each other and the best man will win."

"We’ve talked about [sack totals]. We’ve discussed it. He knows he’s going to be behind me no matter (how many) I get," Williams told reporters with a laugh. "It really doesn’t matter, he knew that coming into this thing. I told him that when I called him before he signed here and I told him. He understands. He’s fine with it."

Marcell Dareus led the team in sacks with 5.5 in 2011. It's safe to assume these two additions will be looking to far exceed that total in 2012.
