The Buffalo Bills face off against the Minnesota Vikings in Minneapolis tonight in Week 2 of the NFL pre-season. With roster spots up for grabs and more work coming for the established first-teamers, there's a lot to watch for this evening.
This is the tenth pre-season meeting between the two teams, the last coming at Buffalo in 2002 in a 24-21 Bills win. Minnesota is 6-3 against the Bills in pre-season play all-time, and 3-1 at home. The last regular season meeting saw Arthur Moats end Brett Favre's consecutive games started streak - albeit in a 38-14 loss - in December of 2010.
The Bills won't have to worry about Peterson tonight, as he's out recovering from off-season knee surgery. Other Vikings starters that won't play tonight include guard Geoff Schwartz, tight end John Carlson and defensive tackle Letroy Guion. Wide receiver and 2012 fourth-round pick Greg Childs is also done for the year after tearing his patella tendon in both knees.
