He sustained a fractured vertebrae and also had a bulging disc in his lower back, which caused severe and chronic pain. He appeared in just six games last season before he was placed on injured reserve November 30th."

The big thing in this league, if you can get to the point where you can rush the passer with your front four, and not have to blitz and bring extra people, then you've got a really good chance at stopping the run and being able to get off the field. And that's something we haven't been able to do for two years."
