At or near the start of every month, we're going to poll the readers of Buffalo Rumblings on their state of mind regarding the chief decision-makers of the Buffalo Bills. This is your poll to state your pleasure, or lack thereof, with GM Buddy Nix. Here are some stories Nix has been heavily involved with over the last month.
- After revealing that he was searching for a viable fourth safety, pursued free agent Jim Leonhard, who eventually signed a one-year deal with Denver.
- Signed third-round pick T.J. Graham on July 9, allowing the rookie to report to training camp on time.
- Made two minor roster moves: signed rookie running back Zach Brown (waived/injured fellow rookie Chris Douglas); signed rookie defensive end Sean Ferguson (waived defensive lineman Lionel Dotson).
- Sent scouts to the pro day of supplemental draft prospect Josh Gordon, who was eventually made a second-round pick by Cleveland. The Bills passed on Gordon twice on supplemental draft day.
- Among the more notable training camp quotes of his, said that it's time for the team to win and for young players like Alex Carrington and Torell Troup to step up.
