Thanks to a little sleuthing on the part of Mark Gaughan of The Buffalo News, we can be reasonably sure of the identities of five Buffalo Bills players returning to the team as practice squad members: receivers Kamar Aiken and Marcus Easley, guard Mark Asper, end Jarron Gilbert and cornerback Isaiah Green.
All five players were part of the Bills' final cuts on Friday, but Gaughan noted that all five still have lockers set up in the team's locker room. Buffalo had a short walk-through practice today. The team still has room for three more practice squad members.
None of these additions are surprising. With just four true receivers on the roster, keeping Aiken and Easley was borderline imperative - and one could get called up when the backup quarterback situation gets resolved. Gilbert was a coaching staff favorite that can play end or tackle, while Asper gives the team some interior line versatility if they lose a player in that area. Green, of course, gives them another body at a cornerback position that's suddenly thin on numbers.
