"I was wrong. The column was giving an opinion on my view of the negotiations between the Bills and Rogers. But it was overzealous in characterizing the likelihood of the final outcome of the talks. I should have presented it in a far more speculative tone. I'm surprised. I look bad on it. It's on me." Gaughan on his speculation from last Sunday on eight games in Toronto.

"Attitude starts with Coach Gailey and it continues with (offensive line coach) Joe D’Alessandris, but it starts with guys like Eric Wood that is a highly competitive guy and he’s got the temperament you want in an offensive lineman," said Nix. "Erik Pears has quietly got the same kind of stuff and Cordy doesn’t back off. Andy and Urbik those guys will scrap you so that’s exactly what we’re trying to get."

Inside The Bills | Attitude of O-line evident
"It starts with Joe D," said head coach Chan Gailey. "I think that’s the kind of guy he is. He’s a no nonsense hit them in the mouth kind of coach. I think we have players that have the same attitude and they take that into a ball game. You’ve got to have that. I’ve said it 100 times, It’s a tough game for tough people and we’ve got some tough guys up front."

Jauronobot prints out interesting C.J. Spiller quotes | The Buffalo News
"They've done a really nice job scheming their offensive football team, and they take advantage of his abilities," Jauron said. "He'll run inside or out and he gets through a hole quickly. He's very fast down the field. Then they'll get him out of there, and they'll throw him the ball, too. He's a very good receiver." Tim Graham thinks Dick Jauron's a little dry to listen to.

Rian Lindell eager to get kicking | The Buffalo News
"Actually, I'm probably sometimes kicking more because they've been down there more," Lindell said. "Every time they cross the 50, I get ready. Yeah, I don't get that extra kick in the game. If I haven't kicked in awhile, then as soon as they get the ball then I may kick a couple. But in a normal situation, usually when they get to the 50, then I'll kick. Usually three or four kicks, it depends on how I feel."

"He’s a smart guy, but quarterbacks are pretty smart people," Jauron said Thursday. "He’s a very competitive guy and he’s a talented guy. He’s not the tallest quarterback, but he’s not short either. It's hard to take in everything at the game so construct a game plan of what you really want to do that day. If you have kids I would opt to include the fieldhouse so be sure to set time aside for it. Getting there early is the key to a successful outing. "
