Buffalo Bills (2-1) vs. New England Patriots (1-2)
Sunday, September 30, 2012 at 1:00 PM EDT
Ralph Wilson Stadium, Orchard Park, NY
Bills inactives: QB Tarvaris Jackson, FS Delano Howell, WR Ruvell Martin, OT Sam Young, OG Colin Brown, DE Kyle Moore, LB Kirk MorrisonToday's a huge game, folks. The Buffalo Bills enter a game with the New England Patriots with a better record for the first time in what feels like a century, but they're also trying to avoid losing their seventh straight game within the division.
Both teams are beat up, but the Patriots are significantly worse off in that category, with three starters prominent players (guard Logan Mankins, tight end Aaron Hernandez and receiver Julian Edelman) sitting out. The big names - Brady, Welker, Gronkowski - are all still around, however, and the task for Buffalo's new-look defense remains a tough one on Sunday.
This is our first GameThread experience since the re-launch of Buffalo Rumblings earlier this week. Fear not; things will remain largely the same. We'll have one thread for the first half, one for the second half, and a post-game thread. All of those, plus all other game updates and major story lines, will feed into our game day StoryStream if you're interested in following along there.
I'll be at The Ralph for the game, meaning that Matt Warren will be your pilot for the afternoon. Treat him well. Enjoy yourselves today. GO BILLS!
