Patriots Up By Touchdown Over Bills After First Quarter

The New England Patriots lone scoring drive has given them an early 7-0 lead after fifteen minutes of play. Steven Ridley punched in a six-yard touchdown run after Tom Brady's arm moved the Patriots 80 yards in five plays.New England has been attempting to pick on rookie CB Stephon Gilmore but to no avail thus far.

Ryan Fitzpatrick's lone incompletion came on an interception late in the first quarter on a batted ball. It was picked by Jerod Mayo but the Bills defense held the Patriots to a three and out. When the Bills got the ball back a 20-yard screen pass to Dorin Dickerson got the Bills some momentum but they weren't able to captialize leading to Shawn Powell's second punt.

C.J. Spiller got in the game and was promptly bottled up for a loss of four. Fred Jackson has been featured as the main back with Tashard Choice yet to see the field on offense.
