Bills Even Up The Score At Seven

Ryan Fitzpatrick badly underthrew a pass from his own end zone that was picked by Patriots cornerback Devon McCourtney. The pass was intended for T.J. Graham who had McCourtney beat but Fitzpatrick couldn't put enough distance on it to capitalize.

On the ensuing possession, the Patriots were bottled up by the Bills defense and kicker Stephan Gostkowski missed his second field goal of the season. Buffalo got the ball back on their own 37-yard-line but fizzled after crossing midfield. Ryan Fitzpatrick took a scary hit on a deep overthrow to Graham but was all right.

After the punt, the Patriots took over on their own 10 and Tom Brady hit Rob Gronkowski for a significant gain but George Wilson ripped the ball from the tight end and fell on it, giving Buffalo excellent field position. The Bills took a shot on the first play, faking the bubble screen to Graham - a play they had run at least twice previously. Fitzpatrick hit Scott Chandler for a 24-yard touchdown on a tough catch along the sideline.

After a fast first quarter, there is still 9:43 remaining in the second half.
