Tom Brady avoided the Buffalo Bills pass rush, found an open lane, and hit running back Danny Woodhead for a 17-yard score to close the Bills lead to just seven. The Patriots marched 80 yards down the field for the score on third down. Brady has yet to go over 200 passing yards on the game.
The Bills were able to build a lead after three Ryan Fitzpatrick touchdowns. He found Scott Chandler twice before Donald Jones took a pass 68 yards to pay dirt.
Buffalo is also benefiting from two Stephen Gostkowski missed field goals in the first half. Of course Buffalo also has had miscues, the biggest being C.J. Spiller's goal line fumble near the end of the first half. Two Fitzpatrick interceptions have also hindered the Bills offense while two Patriots fumbles have slowed them.
There is eight minutes left in the third quarter at Ralph Wilson Stadium in Orchard Park.
