Buffalo Bills News: Stadium Renovations And Andre Reed Is "Stunned"

Some nice new drawings of the renovated "Ralph" were released on the same day Andre Reed said he was"stunned" the Buffalo Bills didn't call him to interview to be the wide receiver coach.

Buffalo Bills Pass on Interviewing Andre Reed for WR Coaching Position | BombasticView

"In what only can be characterized as a total failure to communicate and a colossal break down between the Buffalo Bills Organization and one of its most popular and legendary super star WR Andre Reed, Reed was not even interviewed for the open Wide Receivers Coaching Position despite the fact that he had telegraphed his interest to the team and its upper management weeks before the recent round of hiring’s."

I'm not sure how much stock should be put into an article by Reed's agent about the wide receivers coaching job. I will say this: Reed is just starting the process of becoming a coach. He's been volunteering at the NFLPA Bowl, working with wide receivers. You don't step from that job into a role as a position coach (unless you're Mike Singletary, apparently). Kevin Greene had coaching internships before joining the Packers. Darryl Talley has interned with the Bills. It's unfair of Reed to be "stunned" that the Bills wouldn't come calling when he has zero experience.

Buffalo Bills 'outer harbor' stadium continues to be discussed | Democrat and Chronicle

"George Hasiotis of Greater Buffalo Sports and Entertainment told WGRZ-TV the stadium would be a multi-venue sports complex built on the outer harbor that would be used for many activities."

They are beginning to address problems in the design, including extending train lines and other infrastructure upgrades that would be needed. The fact remains, however, that the group doesn't own the land and the Bills haven't even seen the plans. One must wonder if being "only one of the tenets" would turn the Bills off to the idea, and how it would affect the project as a whole.
