Buffalo Bills Will Announce Doug Marrone Hire At Noon Press Conference

The Buffalo Bills have scheduled a press conference for Noon on January 7, where they are likely to introduce Doug Marrone as the team's next head coach.

The Buffalo Bills have scheduled a press conference for Noon today in Orchard Park. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what they might be announcing: they'll introduce Doug Marrone as the team's next head coach today.

We're not exactly sure where to tune in for the press conference, but your safest bet will likely be WGR 550, who have a live stream online. If you live in Buffalo, WKBW Channel 7 will be carrying the press conference on television, per Jeff Russo and it's on NFL Network.

Word broke of Marrone to Buffalo early Sunday morning, but the two sides reportedly worked late into Sunday night to come to final terms on what ESPN is reporting as a four-year deal. Now, Bills fans will get their first look at Marrone as our head coach later on today.

Marrone, 48, has been the head coach at Syracuse for the past four seasons, going 25-25 with two bowl wins. He also spent four years coaching the offensive line for the New York Jets, then was the offensive coordinator and line coach for Sean Payton and the New Orleans Saints for three years. Today, he'll officially make his return to the NFL.

MRW and I both have busy mornings ahead, so please feel free to use this as an open thread up to and throughout today's press conference. We'll have more coverage after Coach Marrone and President/CEO Russ Brandon (and potentially others) address reporters.
