Doug Marrone and Thad Lewis lead the 2-4 Buffalo Bills into battle against the Miami Dolphins in just a few short minutes down in hot, muggy South Beach.
The Bills enter this contest 0-2 in AFC East play and riding a six-game losing streak on the road; they therefore faced an uphill climb in this contest even before considering that the 3-2 Dolphins are coming off of their bye week. Miami is missing leading tackler Dannell Ellerbe, but still feature a stingy defense and some dynamic playmakers on offense.
Weather could be a factor in this contest, with game day temperates expected to approach 90 degrees on a muggy day in south Florida. The Bills, in anticipation of this, spent most of their week practicing in the fieldhouse with the heat cranked up this week.
This is your open thread for the first half of today's Bills/Dolphins game. Let's see if the Bills can overcome a little adversity for the first time in a few weeks and come out with a win. Go Bills!
