EJ Manuel sprains knee vs. Browns; Stevie Johnson injured too

The Buffalo Bills lost two offensive starters against the Cleveland Browns - but things could have been much worse on the EJ Manuel front, it seems.

Stevie Johnson left the game in the first half with a back injury and will not return. EJ Manuel led the Buffalo Bills into Cleveland Browns territory but was taken to the locker room in the third quarter with a leg injury. Rookie Jeff Tuel has taken Manuel's spot as the Bills quarterback.

Manuel was 11 of 20 for 129 yards and ran the ball once time for 14 yards. He was attended to by trainers before spending some time on the stationary bike and heading to the team's locker room. Johnson came in for one play after catching two passes for 19 yards, but immediately removed himself from the game after being looked at by trainers.

Head coach Doug Marrone told reporters after the game that Manuel suffered a sprained knee. Reporters spotted him walking out of the locker room with a brace on the knee, and Marrone said that he'd likely be evaluated sometime on Friday, after the Bills return to Buffalo. We haven't seen an update on Johnson as of yet.
