Buffalo Bills news, 12/19: EJ Manuel knee injury his third of the season

EJ Manuel injured his knee on Sunday and will be out against the Dolphins. So will Stevie Johnson. Check out all the notes from the locker room.

"After all the ups and downs, the great hope was that Manuel would finish his rookie season on a high note. Now it’s simply about him finishing it on his feet." Even though Jerry Sullivan gets turned around on which knee cost EJ Manuel four games earlier this year, he still presents concerns on the long-term viability of the rookie.

Marrone: "We went out there today, I think you saw, you saw him where he’s able to throw the ball in the pocket, but the stability in that knee with the swelling, he does not have the escapability or the ability to run after the fake or zone read or those type of things that we feel is important for us to win."
