2014 NFL Draft Order: Buffalo Bills still at 10

The Buffalo Bills won't be picking high in the NFL draft and as we know, they won't be low either.

Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

The Buffalo Bills win over the Miami Dolphins didn't drop them in 2014 NFL Draft order. They were No. 10 last week and remain there this morning, according to our friends at With one game remaining in the 2013 season, it's time to take a look at some draft scenarios with the New England Patriots on the horizon.

MTD's Dan Kadar has Buffalo going with Clemson wide receiver Sammy Watkins with Khalil Mack and Anthony Barr off the board at the Bills biggest need position - outside linebacker. Without a "true number one" in Robert Woods and Stevie Johnson, Watkins could provide a dynamic playmaker and likely move T.J. Graham permanently to the sideline.

Here's the complete draft order as of right now:

Pick Team Record Strength of Schedule
1 Houston Texans
2 - 13 .552
2 St. Louis via Washington 3 - 12 .521
3 Jacksonville Jaguars
4 - 11 .502
4 Cleveland Browns
4 - 11 .517 (3-8 AFC)
5 Oakland Raiders 4 - 11 .517 (4-7 AFC)
6 Tampa Bay Buccaneers
4 - 11 .582
7 Atlanta Falcons 4 - 10* .553
8 Minnesota Vikings
4 - 10 - 1 .521
9 Tennessee Titans
6 -9 .502
10 Buffalo Bills
6 - 9 .519
New York Giants
6 - 9 .529

* The Falcons play the San Francisco 49ers tonight

With a loss on Sunday to the Patriots, Buffalo can move as high as eighth if the Titans win and the Falcons win tonight and next week. With a win on Sunday, the Bills can fall as far as No. 15 overall with losses from the Giants and the 7-8 teams: Detroit, Pittsburgh, the Jets, and St. Louis. The Rams' much higher strength of schedule metric (currently .553) means Buffalo is realistically locked in between Nos. 8-14 in the draft.
