Buccaneers-Bills final score: Tampa blasts Buffalo, 27-6

... and they proved it in resounding fashion in Sunday's 27-6 thrashing at the hands of the Buccaneers.

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

The Buffalo Bills were thoroughly obliterated by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 14, falling 27-6 in easily their worst performance of the season.

EJ Manuel threw four interceptions - twice by linebacker Lavonte David - and was sacked seven times in a horrific performance that, with any luck, will go down as the low point of his rookie season. He had no help from a Bills offensive line that was horrible all day, paving the way for just 67 Bills rushing yards - 29 of which were put up by Manuel running for his life.

Buffalo's defense gave up an 80-yard rushing touchdown on Tampa's opening possession (Bobby Rainey did the honors), setting up a 165-yard rushing day for the home team. Add in 11 penalties for 114 yards, plus a fifth turnover - on a Leodis McKelvin muffed punt - and really, you now know everything you need to know about this football game, so we'll stop wasting your time.

The Bills are 4-9, and they're on the road against the just-as-4-9 Jacksonville Jaguars next week.
