In Mel Kiper's most recent 2013 NFL Mock Draft, he projects junior Georgia linebacker Alec Ogletree to the Buffalo Bills with the No. 8 overall pick. It's quite possible that will change the next time around, considering Ogletree was cited for DUI recently.
Ogletree, 21, was pulled over last weekend for speeding and a lane violation when officers smelled alcohol, per his agent (via Pro Football Talk). PFT points out that this isn't the first time Ogletree has gotten in trouble, as he also missed the first four games of the 2012 season while suspended due to a failed drug test.
The Bills are not averse to drafting players that have been suspended - Marcell Dareus missed two games in his final season at Alabama after receiving illegal benefits - but they also have typically avoided prospects with this type of off-field red flag. Ogletree is the type of rangy, run-and-hit linebacker with coverage upside that NFL teams like these days; time will tell if this DUI affects his draft stock in any way.
