Why the Bills should think about drafting another OT early - Press Coverage | The Buffalo News
"Right tackle was a significant problem for Buffalo last year. Of the 30 sacks the Bills allowed, eight were surrendered by players who started at right tackle, according to STATS Inc."
I like Tim Graham's idea here, but I certainly wouldn't want the Bills to spend their eighth overall pick on a right tackle. Replacing Erik Pears or throwing a rookie into competition with Pears and Chris Hairston would be nice in theory, but with the other holes on the roster it seems counter-intuitive. If anyone knows how well each of the right tackle candidates played, it's former offensive line coach Doug Marrone. I guess we will wait and see what he thinks.
