Rookie Recap: AFC East | ProFootballFocus.com
"Steve Palazzolo reviews the impact of the 2012 rookies in the AFC East... The Buffalo Bills got mixed, yet promising, results from their top selections."
Stephon Gilmore graded out well in coverage. Now all he has to do is "keep his hands to himself" going forward. They call Cordy Glenn the "likely left tackle of the future," and note that T.J. Graham had a bad case of the dropsies. I really like Glenn and Gilmore, but the rest of the draft class has some work to do.
Ryan Fitzpatrick's Agent Contacted to Restructure Deal | Queen City Sports
"As reported on Twitter, Ryan Talbot of Queen City Sports has learned that the Buffalo Bills have contacted Ryan Fitzpatrick’s agent to discuss restructuring his contract."
If true, this shouldn't come as a surprise. The Bills and Fitzpatrick signed a deal for a legit NFL starter, and when Fitzpatrick couldn't live up to it, both sides were unhappy. As Talbot notes, Fitz's best chance of starting is likely in Buffalo, so it may behoove him to stick around.
This has other implications, as well. The Bills are moving on from the evaluation portion of their off-season to the action portion (at least in one area). Perhaps they can now start having meaningful conversations with the agents for Andy Levitre and Jairus Byrd.
