2013 NFL Draft: Alec Ogletree, Da'Rick Rogers visit Buffalo Bills

Buffalo has now hosted 23 prospects this year; they're allowed to host 30.

USA TODAY Sports

The Buffalo Bills have confirmed that four more top 2013 NFL Draft prospects are at One Bills Drive today on pre-draft visits. That brings their running total to 23 out of a maximum of 30; the updated list is below. On the premises today are two players that we've already discussed in previous entries of this ongoing story: USC quarterback Matt Barkley and Oregon pass rusher Dion Jordan.

Georgia linebacker Alec Ogletree is also in town today. The 6'2", 242-pound junior has some character concerns to overcome, but from an athletic perspective there isn't a better inside linebacker prospect in this year's draft class (though there are a few other linebackers, namely Arthur Brown, that are at least as athletic that could fit in Buffalo's defense just fine). Ogletree finished his three-year career with 197 tackles, 20 tackles for a loss, three sacks and an interception.

Da'Rick Rogers is the third current or former (in this case, former) Tennessee wide receiver that has visited the Bills; in fact, the only notable UT wideout that hasn't been connected with the Bills at all is Cordarrelle Patterson. In the case of Rogers, he was suspended at Tennessee and ultimately transferred to Tennessee Tech after three failed drug tests. The 6'2", 217-pound Rogers had a breakout season with the Volunteers in 2011 (61 receptions, 1,040 yards, nine touchdowns), and had a great season in 2012 at Tech while staying clean. Just like with Ogletree, character concerns are holding back a promising athlete in the pre-draft process.

As promised, here's the full list of confirmed visitors so far. Buffalo is allowed seven more visits to meet that maximum of 30.
