ESPN's Todd McShay held a conference call on the 2013 NFL Draft this morning, and Dan Kadar of SB Nation was on the line to convey the following about the Buffalo Bills and USC quarterback Matt Barkley:
On conference call, McShay doesn't believe anything he hears this time of year, but hears Buffalo likes Matt Barkley.

This isn't the first time that the Bills have been linked to Barkley, and it won't be the last. The long-held belief that the Bills could take a quarterback in the first round next Thursday has transformed into full-fledged assumption over the past week or so, and as we discussed earlier this week, Barkley and Ryan Nassib of Syracuse are considered the front-runners to be chosen by the Bills.
Of course, as McShay points out, this is the one week on the football calendar where it's best to approach rumors from a mindset of disbelief. We'll know in six days whether or not the Bills like Barkley - or Nassib, or any other quarterback - enough to take him with a Top 10 pick. For now, however, this rumor gives us something more to chew on.
