Round 2 mock draft: Mel Kiper, Todd McShay give Bills WR, LB and... RB?

There is no shred of conceivable logic that supports Mel's pick of RB Eddie Lacy to the Bills. It is utterly illogical.

Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

Round 2 of the 2013 NFL Draft begins tonight, and everyone and their brother is putting out a Round 2 mock draft in advance of tonight's 6:30 PM start. The two most famous mock drafters on the planet, Mel Kiper and Todd McShay of ESPN (and Scouts, Inc.), have made their second-round projections for the Buffalo Bills, and only one of the four picks made between them is completely insane.

That crazy pick belongs to Kiper, who ruined a highly reasonable projection of Tennessee wide receiver Justin Hunter at No. 41 by giving Alabama running back Eddie Lacy to the Bills at pick No. 46. Mercifully, that projection is so laughably implausible that we can just roll our eyes and move on. Because no, Mel Kiper. Just... no.

Scouts didn't dive so far into the deep end, projecting Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te'o to the Bills at No. 41, then following that up with California wide receiver Keenan Allen at No. 46. Both of those players would fill need areas for the Bills, and both were productive collegians. Thumbs up, Todd and crew. Fix Mel with a perplexed and quizzical stare for us, if you would be so kind.

If you had to pick one of the Kiper/McShay mock draft picks to become reality for the Bills this evening, which prospect would you choose?
