WGR 550 SportsRadio - 5 Observations From Bills OTAs: Day 8

"On Wednesday the media was able to view the entirety of practice. Keep in mind, this is only one day of a voluntary off-season workout, so all the observations should not be treated as overwhelming opinions on individual players and how they performed on one given day. There also were no pads and no contact, so that must also be acknowledged."

"We’re putting a lot in schematically," said Marrone. "We have a lot in now, a large percentage of it, close to the end and you can see that sometimes we’ve become saturated with that and we’ve made some mistakes out there. But the players are working to get better. By the end of this week we’ll be done installation-wise."

Bills bring two rookie safeties up to speed - The Buffalo News
"Those two have flashed what we saw as we were evaluating them from a draft standpoint. I think both of them have solid futures in this league, but it’s just so early for them," he said. "Sometimes it’s hard to evaluate them because you can just see the gears grinding. I’ve seen it with so many young safeties. To me, that’s probably the hardest position defensively to learn."
