Bills training camp practice: Day 3 open thread

It looks like the pads will come out for the first time at Buffalo Bills training camp this morning, and at least one player is excited about the return of hitting.

Kevin Hoffman-USA TODAY Sports

The Buffalo Bills will hold their third training camp practice this morning - but while it's the third practice, it's also the fourth day of camp, as the team reported late last week and spent the first day running conditioning tests and prepping for the first practice. By NFL rule, teams can begin donning pads on the fourth day of camp. Ergo, it sounds like the Bills might be wearing pads today.

Third-year defensive back Aaron Williams summed it up best:

As usual, this is your open thread to discuss the comings and goings of this morning's practice. The Bills are scheduled to be on the field from 8:10-11:10, and with team work not typically starting until an hour or so into the session, there may not be many newsworthy updates to add here until the 9AM time frame. Until then, listen to our newest podcast and read practice recaps from Day 1 and Day 2 if you're so inclined.
