Buffalo Bills 53-man roster projection, preseason Week 3

With less than 10 days to go until NFL teams have to trim their rosters to 53 players, here's our latest guess at what the Buffalo Bills' roster will look like heading into September.

Timothy T. Ludwig-USA TODAY Spor

Buffalo Bills training camp is officially in the books, and the team is en route back to Orchard Park to embark on a ten-day stretch in which they'll play two preseason games, welcome back a star free safety, and trim their roster first to 75 players (on August 27), then to 53 (by 6PM on August 31).

In advance of Saturday's preseason game against the Washington Redskins, here's our latest 53-man roster projection. As usual, it's not terribly different from our last projection, though five names have changed. New (or returning) to the list are wide receivers Chris Hogan and Marcus Easley, tackle Thomas Welch, linebacker Bryan Scott and cornerback Crezdon Butler. They replace receivers Brad Smith and Da'Rick Rogers, tackles Chris Hairston (who we're assuming will begin the season on PUP here) and Sam Young, and defensive lineman Corbin Bryant.
