Bills training camp practice: Day 10 open thread

Kevin Kolb and Leodis McKelvin remain sidelined for the Bills as they hit the practice field at St. John Fisher for the tenth time this summer.

The first round of the PGA Championship at Oak Hill Country Club is the big news in Rochester this morning, but just a few minutes away at St. John Fisher College, the Buffalo Bills are already on the field for training camp practice No. 10 of the 2013 season.

Today's will be the fourth straight practice that quarterback Kevin Kolb has missed, though he is expected to be back with the team later this evening according to head coach Doug Marrone. There's also a chance that, provided his injured knee is cleared by doctors, he'll be on the field for the team's public practice on Friday evening.

It also appears that "lingering soreness" from Monday night's scrimmage will keep cornerback Leodis McKelvin out of action for a second straight day, according to Chris Brown of BuffaloBills.com. WGR 550's Joe Buscaglia pointed out that with McKelvin sidelined on Wednesday, Ron Brooks slid into the first-team cornerback role, with undrafted rookie free agent Nickell Robey taking nickel reps.

You know the drill: this is your open thread for this morning's practice. We'll keep this post updated as news breaks, and then we'll recap the session later this morning.
