Buffalo Bills 53-man roster projection, preseason Week 1

With the Buffalo Bills' first preseason game just a few days away (and with two weeks of practice in the books), it's time to update our 53-man roster projections.

Mark Konezny-USA TODAY Sports

With the rough equivalent of two weeks' worth of Buffalo Bills training camp practices in the books and just one practice (likely to be a more relaxed one than usual) separating the team from their first preseason game on Sunday in Indianapolis, I thought tonight would be a good night to update my 53-man roster projection.

This won't look too dissimilar from my last stab at this, from back on July 26. In all, four slots have changed: Tashard Choice, Thomas Welch, Jay Ross and Brian Stahovich are in, while Zebrie Sanders, Corbin Bryant, Crezdon Butler and Shawn Powell are out.

I'll happily rationalize anything that you take issue with in the comments section, and if you'd like to supply your own 53-man roster projection for the purpose of discussion, I'll happily cross-examine the effort.
