Nigel Bradham drug charge dropped

The court date for Buffalo Bills linebacker Nigel Bradham went well for the legally embattled defender, as he walked out of the courtroom with a clean record, per the Associated Press.

Bradham was pulled over on Saturday, August 17 for illegal window tint. After a brief conversation with an officer, Bradham also voluntarily turned over a small bag of marijuana, per the police report. He was cited for both violations and appeared in the Town of Tonawanda court on Wednesday afternoon. The judge dismissed the window tint charge, and dropped his marijuana charge provided he doesn't get arrested in the next six months.

The Bills haven't commented on the situation since August 20, when general manager Doug Whaley said the NFL was reviewing the incident. The league would be hard-pressed to impose a harsh penalty given the dismissal of the relatively minor charges.

Bradham's playing time and status as a starting linebacker have both diminished since the arrest, but no one from the organization has publicly stated the two are linked. He played 19 snaps to Arthur Moats' 24 in Sunday's season-opening loss to New England.
