It's that time of the week again: Brendan Harrington, Matt Warren and I are planning out tonight's Buffalo Rumblings Podcast, in which we'll be breaking down yet another Buffalo Bills loss, and we're looking for your feedback from yesterday's 27-20 defeat at the hands of the New York Jets.
Offensive Player of the Game
Well, let's see here... Fred Jackson ripped off a 59-yard run... Scott Chandler hauled in five passes for 79 yards, including a 33-yard touchdown... Stevie Johnson caught six passes for 86 yards and a two-point conversion that tied the game early in the fourth quarter... those have to be the front-runners in an otherwise dismal performance, right?
Defensive Player of the Game
When the Jets pile up 518 yards of offense on you, you're going to be stretching real hard to find a defender worthy of this type of honor. Good luck with this one, dear readers.
Turning Point of the Game
This was such a crazy game - particularly throughout the fourth quarter - that there are a few compelling candidates for this discussion. One would think, however, that giving up a 69-yard touchdown pass one minute after a crazy sequence of events tied the game would be the obvious choice here, but maybe that's just me.
Goat of the Game
Here, finally, is a place where there are a good number of deserving candidates - not just on the field of play, but on the sidelines, as well. Much like the defensive player of the game above, we wish you well trying to pick just one name out here.
