Marquise Goodwin injury: rookie wideout has cast on hand

Goodwin left his first pro game with a hand injury, and was spotted in the locker room after the loss to New England with a cast on.

The NFL debut of Marquise Goodwin will be remembered for his lost fumble in the second quarter (see the picture), but that play may have been his last for a while. Goodwin left Sunday's 23-21 loss to the New England Patriots with a hand injury, and was spotted leaving the locker room post-game with a cast on.

Goodwin didn't return any of the kickoffs that came his way, instead opting to take the touchbacks. His first NFL catch likely won't sit well with the former Texas Longhorn speedster, as the ball was ripped from his hand. Tom Brady and the Patriots turned that fumble into a touchdown, putting New England up 17-7 in the second quarter.

T.J. Graham took Goodwin's place on the kickoff to open the second half and will likely see more snaps on offense as a direct result of the injury, as well. Buffalo dressed all six of their receivers today so Chris Hogan and Marcus Easley could both see more time, too.
