Brendan Harrington, Matt Warren and I will be convening this evening to record another episode of the Buffalo Rumblings Podcast. Obviously, we'll be focusing our conversations around the Buffalo Bills' opening day 23-21 loss to the New England Patriots - and we need your help for the show.
Below, we've given you four categories on which to leave comments, which we'll read during the show to spark our conversations. Let us know which player or coach you believe belongs to each "award," for lack of a better term. If all goes according to plan, we'll be releasing the episode for your ear balls on Tuesday morning.
Offensive Player of the Game: Fred Jackson (108 all-purpose yards) and EJ Manuel (18-of-27, 150 yards, two touchdowns, minimal errors) seem like they'll run away with most votes in this one; which did you think had the better day?
Defensive Player of the Game: Coming off of a strong performance against a Patriots team more challenged for offensive playmakers than in recent seasons, there are a number of players that could merit consideration here.
Turning Point of the Game: Plenty to choose from here, as well, given the close score and the several opportunities that slipped through Buffalo's fingers (sometimes literally).
Goat of the Game: Vent! (Just not at each other, please - we're all still Bills fans, if you'll recall). From play-calling to missed opportunities on the field, there are again plenty of candidates here, and given the nature of yesterday's outcome, we're guessing that this particular award will dominate the below discussion.
