Bills DC Mike Pettine hired as Browns head coach -
"He spent just one year in Buffalo, but turned around a defense that was ranked 22nd in the league in 2012 to a top 10 ranking just one year later (10th). Pettine also oversaw a pass rushing unit that improved from 18th in the league to second in the NFL sacks from 2012 to 2013, with a franchise record 57 this past season. Buffalo’s defense also improved from 20th in interceptions to second in the league in 2013."

Bills must move quickly to replace Mike Pettine - ESPN
"The expectation is that the Bills will waste little time in replacing Pettine. With most NFL coaching staffs close to being finalized for next season, the options to replace Pettine are dwindling."

Cleveland Browns run the same old route to another new head coach - Bud Shaw |
"But the coaching searches that landed Chud and Pettine -- noteworthy for the candidates not interviewed as much as for the ones it identified and the two "winners" it produced -- are too similar to feel good about Pettine as the answer in this reboot."

Why Mike Pettine will have to work to win over Cleveland Browns fans - and more importantly, players: Tom Reed analysis |
"But the 47-year-old has much to overcome, handicapped by a late start to assembling a staff; a lack of head-coaching experience outside the high-school ranks; and the chaotic search that saw at least three candidates withdraw their names from consideration."

Inside The Bills | Kiper bumps up his 2013 draft grade for Bills
"Alonso was my top rookie of 2013 league-wide due to overall impact, Woods should be a pretty good No. 2 wide receiver and Goodwin added some value. They also get credit for Nickell Robey, one of the better undrafted signings in terms of early value. Decent return so far, but much is wrapped up in Manuel."
