The Buffalo Bills defense has been firmly in control of the Kansas City Chiefs offense today, and as a result, the home team is up 10-3 at the half. Buffalo also gets the ball to start the third quarter.
Kyle Orton has 22 passes and has been plagued by dropped passes all over the field, while Fred Jackson has been used sparingly. Leodis McKelvin returned a punt into Chiefs territory where Orton was able to convert two third and longs, eventually finding Chris Hogan on a nice route up the seam for the first points of the game.
The Buffalo defensive line has hit Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith over and over again. Nigel Bradham forced a fumble that was recovered by Jarius Wynn to set up a Dan Carpenter field goal. Outside of the turnover, the stats are almost identical outside of quarterback hits, with Orton throwing it into the dirt repeatedly.
