Without further ado: the top five reasons that the Bills deserve to be a playoff team this season. (You're encouraged to expand the list in the comments section.)
No. 5: Kyle Orton will grow a playoff mustache, maybe. That's must-see TV.
No. 4: The offense is bad, but still features exciting young skill talent in Sammy Watkins, C.J. Spiller, and Robert Woods. You never know! They could pop off at any moment!
No. 3: Excellent veteran players like Fred Jackson, Mario Williams, and Kyle Williams - who have put years of quality play into this league, but have never participated in a postseason game - have deserved that opportunity for far longer than just this season.
No. 2: If the Bills get to the playoffs, they'll have shut down Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers, and Tom Brady to earn it - and the national audience deserves to see a defense that good with their own eyes, in prime time.
No. 1: 14 years is such a long damn time, man.
