2014 NFL Combine workouts: DB open thread

Buffalo Bills fans take in and discuss the fourth and final day of 2014 NFL Combine workouts, featuring defensive backs and Rich Eisen's 40-yard dash.

Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

The 2014 NFL Combine will officially wrap up on Tuesday, but before we get to the highlight of the week - Rich Eisen's annual 40-yard dash - a slew of defensive backs will take the field for their workouts.

The Buffalo Bills may have some cornerback depth issues to be concerned with, but they also probably don't need an immediate contributor there. Safety could jump up the needs list quickly if the team can't resolve the Jairus Byrd contract situation in satisfactory fashion. By and large, the defensive backfield is considered a longshot target for the Bills' first-round pick, but it's too early yet to write it off completely - and there are some very good athletes here that should stay in the conversation for quite a while.
