Buffalo Rumblings bonding session: Getting to Know You

Why can't people who gather in the same corner of the Internet every day get to know each other a little better?

Kevin Hoffman-US PRESSWIRE

Good morning, Buffalo Rumblings!

I'm really excited about today's Joe! Back in 2012 when I first started writing my daily Morning Joe! post in the FanPost section, I wrote this post titled "Morning Joe! What Do You Do?". It was by far my favorite post of all time. It was an opportunity for me to share with you all who I was, and for me to find out who you all were.

I don't know about you guys, but I considered all of you as a part of my extended family. I developed some pretty cool relationships because of this community. We joke and have fun, get into arguments, but at the end of the day we're all Bills fans - and if any outsider come to our community looking to start crap, we join forces and eliminate the threat.

So to help set the stage for the rest of the offseason, I wanted to reintroduce the topic. It's been exactly two years since you all shared with the community who you were and what you do. We have some new Rumblers that we don't know much about, and I'm sure they are as curious as you to find out who you all are. Plus, I think it will help strengthen the community, as some of my topics can get pretty testy at times and this will help ease some of the tension that it may cause. It's a lot easier to understand one's perspective when you know who they are.

Okay, I'm going to get the ball rolling and tell you all a little bit about me, and then I will ask you all some questions to help frame the discussion. Feel free to share as much or as little as you want. I'm hoping our Godfather Don Vito Corleone (Brian Galliford) and his Consigliere Tom Hagen (Matt Warren) are willing to share as well.

Hello, my name is Kent and I'm a Bills fan. ("Hi, Kent.") I used to write under the name doctork44 when I was writing in the FanPost section. No, I'm not a doctor, but people come to me with their problems, so I started calling my self a doctor. The number 44 is my old football number. The picture above was at my very first Bills game (6-3 Browns over the Bills) in 2009, and as you can see by my meager setup, it was my first time tailgating. Of course I have some grown up juice in the cup. Went to that really nice mall in Buffalo and racked up a bunch of Bills gear, got those Zubaz and that jersey from there. I'm 30 years old, married, with a daughter (two months old), and have a English bulldog name Fargo. Once the season starts, I call him Flutie (my all-time favorite Bill).

I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, so as you can imagine I got into a lot of fights with Jets fans. Became a Bills fan when I was seven years old. That was during our first Super Bowl game against the Giants; been a die hard fan ever since. Move to Baltimore, Maryland when I was 18. Got my business degree from Morgan State University (Historical Black College University). Lived in Maryland ever since. I do financial management for the US Army, and enjoy writing for this site as a hobby. On days when I'm not changing diapers or writing posts, you can find me trolling the Internet, reading something sports related, watching old movies, and playing PS3 (GTA V and FIFA).

My best buddy on the site is Sergeant Major Thor. He's been my number one supporter from day one. Cush2Push and I are cool, as well Danroc, JoeP, Stetz, Dana, Japan John, CanadianBillsfan, poz, Mindbender, Afghan Twilight, and many others. Sorry if I didn't mention you all, but you all know who you are. I love reading these guys' stuff, they have some really good insight. Check them out from time-to-time in the FanPost section. As with a lot of my buddies on this site, we don't often agree, but we have a mutual respect for one another. If any of you are ever in Baltimore, the "grown up juice" is on me.

Okay Rumblers, it's your turn. You don't have to write and share as much as I did if you don't want to. Just try to answer some of the basic questions. Who you are? What you do? Where you're from? What you like to do? When do you like to post? Why you're a Bills fan?

Have fun with it.
