"A Jairus Byrd contract extension is far from finalized and still very much an uncertainty. Even so, Buffalo Bills fans will be glad to hear what two league sources have told me: Preliminary talks have been pleasant so far."

Bills to play Giants in 2014 Hall of Fame game -
"Being in Canton as a rookie while Mr. Wilson was being inducted into the Hall of Fame was an honor," Eric Wood told "It was awesome for me going back to a stadium to play my first time in a Bills uniform where I played in two high school state championships. This year will be fun to be there in Canton while Andre Reed, a great player for the Bills and a guy I have become friends with, is inducted into the Hall of Fame."

"A fifth preseason game for the teams also means they can open training camp early. Last year, the Bills opened camp on the last Sunday of July. If they move things up, camp would open at St. John Fisher College in Pittsford on Sunday, July 20."

Thoughts on Bills in Hall of Fame game - ESPN
"Not a shocker: The Hall of Fame game, held annually in Canton, Ohio, the day after induction ceremonies, is typically played between an AFC and NFC team who have former players being inducted. Of the five modern-era enshrinees -- Andre Reed, Michael Strahan, Aeneas Williams, Walter Jones, and Derrick Brooks -- Reed was the only player who spent most of his career with an AFC team."
