Odell Beckham Jr, Phillip Gaines visit the Buffalo Bills

Buffalo has now hosted 16 prospects on pre-draft visits this spring; they're allowed a maximum of 30.

LSU wide receiver Odell Beckham, Jr. headlines three 2014 NFL Draft prospects making pre-draft visits with the Buffalo Bills on Thursday.

Gil Brandt of NFL.com reported last week that Beckham had a visit set up with the Bills. One of the hotter names in the draft class at the moment, Beckham is a virtual certainty to be selected in the first round. It's fair to consider him the third first-round lock to visit the Bills this spring, joining Texas A&M tackle Jake Matthews and North Carolina tight end Eric Ebron.

Also in Orchard Park today: Rice cornerback Phillip Gaines, a 6'0", 193-pound athlete with excellent straight-line speed (he ran a 4.38-second 40-yard dash at the Combine). He could crack the second day of the draft based on that athleticism alone. Gaines finished his career at Rice with 175 tackles, 38 defended passes and four interceptions.

Finally, a third running back is making a pre-draft visit with the Bills this spring. Terrance Cobb is a NAIA prospect from the University of the Cumberlands in Kentucky, where he landed after choosing junior college over SEC schools that recruited him for academic reasons. He ran for 1,991 yards and 26 touchdowns as a junior in 2012.

The Bills have now confirmed 16 pre-draft visitors so far this spring; they are allowed a maximum of 30, so they're more than half way home. Here's the full list, which we're also keeping track of in this StoryStream.
