NFL Draft 2014: Ryan Shazier to visit Buffalo Bills pre-draft

Ohio State linebacker Ryan Shazier joins college teammate, cornerback Bradley Roby on the list of reported Buffalo Bills pre-draft visitors.

Andrew Weber-US PRESSWIRE

Add Ohio State linebacker Ryan Shazier to the list of college players that will reportedly be making a pre-draft visit with the Buffalo Bills this spring. From the sound of it, he'll be in Orchard Park soon.

An ultra-productive collegian, Shazier finished his three-year college career with the Buckeyes after accumulating 306 tackles, 44.5 tackles for loss, 14 sacks, 15 defended passes and an interception. The 6'1", 237-pound outside linebacker is also highly athletic; he ran an unofficial 4.36-second 40-yard dash at the Ohio State pro day last month on a bad hamstring, and is one of the fastest players at his position.

Shazier might end up being a first-round pick, and likely won't last beyond Round 2. Buffalo added veteran linebackers Brandon Spikes and Keith Rivers via free agency earlier this offseason.

We now have the names of six Bills pre-draft visitors; they are allowed 30, but only two of those six have been confirmed by the team. For now, we will continue to delineate between players that are reportedly going to visit One Bills Drive, and those that the team has announced as in the building.
