Sammy Watkins headlines latest round of Bills pre-draft visitors

The Buffalo Bills have confirmed the names of three more pre-draft visitors at One Bills Drive on Wednesday: Clemson wide receiver Sammy Watkins, Notre Dame offensive lineman Zack Martin and McGill offensive lineman Laurent Duvernay-Tardif.

Watkins, who is nearly universally considered the top wide receiver in this year's draft class, is coming off a decorated career with the Tigers in which he amassed 240 receptions, 3,391 yards and 27 touchdowns in three seasons. The 6'1", 211-pound athlete has explosive playmaking ability and 4.43-second 40-yard dash speed, and is not expected to slide out of the Top 5 picks in two weeks.

Martin is also a shoo-in as a first-round pick, cementing his status there with a strong Senior Bowl performance despite questions about his true pro position. The experienced 6'4", 308-pound lineman played left tackle for the Irish, but while he has enjoyed a strong enough pre-draft process to likely get his first NFL look at tackle, many consider him a future guard.

Duvernay-Tardif, a Canadian product, is a mid-round prospect at best that, like Martin, is a college tackle that most are projecting inside to the NFL level. The 6'5", 321-pound prospect is a good athlete for his size - he was unofficially clocked at under 5.0 seconds in the 40-yard dash at his pro day - but may not have the feet to play outside at the NFL level.
