"We have some medical meetings with our medical staff and then our scouts come in this weekend and we’ll be hunkering down on Monday at 9am and get started then," said Whaley. GM Doug Whaley stresses Bills' lack of glaring needs entering the NFL draft - BN Blitz - The Buffalo News
"We can go any position," Whaley said. "We can take offensive line, we can take a running back, we can take receiver. You can always use another DB, safety, linebacker. So that makes our job a lot easier, because we can stack the board without having a pressing need. When you have a pressing need, guys tend to get pushed up the board. When you push guys up the board, that's when you have a greater chance of making mistakes."

One of the moves was to trade for Mike Williams. That gives Manuel a weapon and Whaley said, "The decision was simple, Tampa Bay called and asked if we would have interest and we felt for a 6th round pick and hopefully now a 6th round pick is going to have a hard time making our team. Most likely he’ll be a practice squad guy at best, so we thought it was a no brainer to make the deal. It does not preclude us from taking a wide receiver."
