The Buffalo Bills added two defensive backs to their list of pre-draft visitors on Thursday, bringing in Clemson defensive back Bashaud Breeland and Duke cornerback Ross Cockrell, the team announced. They are the second and third defensive backs to come to team head quarters this spring, following Wednesday's visit from Ohio State cornerback Bradley Roby.
Breeland is the better-known of the two players; the three-year starter at Clemson moved from safety to cornerback for his final season. The 5'11", 197-pound Breeland should be a day two selection after notching 74 tackles and 17 pass breakups in 2013.
Cockrell was one of Duke's defensive captains and had a good week at the Shrine Game. He has greatly improved his 40-yard dash time this offseason, unofficially clocking under 4.4 at his pro day. He is known for being physical with receivers at the line of scrimmage, as well. He is seen as a third-day pick, but with his improved 40 time, could sneak into the fourth round.
Here is the updated list of confirmed and reported Bills pre-draft visitors.
