Mike Rodak doesn't think Manny Lawson is a lock for the roster. It would be a cap savings of less than $1 million if released, but if he doesn't fit the new defense, it's not outside the realm of possibility. Rodak also discusses the possibility of a trade. The other noteworthy piece in this opinion article is speculation on a long-term deal for C.J. Spiller, where Rodak says despite a soft market this offseason, Spiller will command a strong offer next spring.
