ESPN's Sal Paolantonio, who is covering Buffalo Bills training camp on Monday, told WGR 550's The Howard Simon Show this morning that defensive tackle Marcell Dareus will be at this afternoon's camp practice, but may not be back in action until later this week.
Dareus, who has not yet practiced due to his failing the team's conditioning test, was not spotted at Sunday night's camp opener. He will not get a chance to re-take that conditioning test until at least Thursday, according to Paolantonio.

Doug Marrone to Paolantonio: "Dareus has a good heart. We will get him in shape. We need him to play football for us."

The Bills have practices on Monday (2:10 p.m. ET), Tuesday (8:10 a.m.), and Wednesday (8:10 a.m.) that Dareus is in line to miss if Paolantonio's information is accurate. The players have Thursday off - that may or may not be the day for Dareus to try the test again, depending on what the coaches have planned; at zero practices, Dareus should theoretically not need an off day - and then embark on four more days of practices with an evening session this Friday.
With Dareus getting in shape and Alan Branch on the Active/Non-Football Illness list, the Bills' first-team defensive tackles to open training camp last night were Kyle Williams and Corbin Bryant.
