All it took was one incomplete pass and one hit from former Buffalo Bills linebacker Ashlee Palmer and Sammy Watkins had to come out of the game after re-injuring his ribs. He originally hurt the midsection two weeks ago against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
It was on the second offensive series of the game where Manuel led Watkins a little too much and Palmer laid the lumber. Here's a picture from Buffalo Bills television network reporter Mike Catalana showing Watkins being worked on by trainers.

After being looked at by trainers, he walked to the locker room. When he was originally injured, we hoped we wouldn't see him again until the regular season. Now we surely won't. It's too bad Sammy didn't listen to us:
Please don't get hurt, Sammy. Please don't get hurt, Sammy. Please don't get hurt, Sammy. Please don't get hurt, Sammy. Please don't get...— Buffalo Rumblings (@BuffRumblings) August 28, 2014
