The Buffalo Bills got smoked in the first half - and Sammy Watkins did, too - en route to a 17-0 deficit to start the second half.
EJ Manuel was 3-for-7 for 56 yards. On a pass on the team's second possession, he telegraphed a slant pattern to Watkins who took a big shot from former Buffalo Bills linebacker Ashlee Palmer. Palmer's elbow found Watkins' tender ribs and the rookie receiver did not return.
Newly signed quarterback Jordan Palmer is 3-of-9 for 25 yards and an interception. In relief, both Anthony Dixon and Bryce Brown have come off the field with injuries but later returned with Bryce's looking much more serious at the time.
On the positive front, Robert Woods had a highlight reel catch and was called out for a great block on a long Fred Jackson catch and run. The first team defense also forced a couple three-and-outs before leaving the field.
