Bills vs. Panthers, preseason 2014: first half open thread

Who's ready to talk about tonight's Bills-Panthers preseason game? We're doing so right here. Go Bills!

Sam Sharpe-USA TODAY Sports

Welcome, dear friends, to the second Buffalo Bills preseason game of the elongated 2014 exhibition campaign. Tonight, the Bills are in Charlotte, North Carolina, where they will be taking on the Carolina Panthers, making their preseason debuts without some of their biggest-name players.

Buffalo will be without several starters in this contest, and there are some noteworthy lineup changes to mention, as well. Mike Williams remains in the lineup ahead of Robert Woods at receiver. Seantrel Henderson will make another start at left tackle with Cordy Glenn sidelined by illness. Leodis McKelvin is still sidelined due to injury, and he's replaced in the lineup by Corey Graham. Finally, safety Da'Norris Searcy is dressed tonight, but Duke Williams will make the start at safety.

This is your open thread for the first half of tonight's game; we'll open up a second-half thread during halftime, as usual, and if anything major happens, we'll have a post to cover that, as well.

At bare minimum, let's hope for a repeat of last week for the Bills on the injury front. It would also be lovely if tonight's contest were entertaining, as well. Enjoy it, folks - go Bills!
