The Buffalo Bills have announced their list of seven inactive players for today's home game against the San Diego Chargers, which kicks off just over an hour from now.
- RB Bryce Brown (healthy scratch)
- TE Chris Gragg (healthy scratch)
- LB Randell Johnson (knee)
- OT Cyrus Kouandjio (healthy scratch)
- OG Cyril Richardson (healthy scratch)
- LB Keith Rivers (groin)
- CB Ross Cockrell (healthy scratch)
Tight end Lee Smith makes his season debut after recovering from a toe injury. Gragg had seen plenty of snaps in Smith's place but will be a healthy scratch today.
Rivers and Johnson were expected scratches at linebacker, as both were listed as out or doubtful on the injury report. Newly signed Larry Dean will be in a reserve role at the spot.
Brown, Kouandjio, and Richardson were all healthy scratches in the first two weeks, as well. Brown isn't as useful on special teams as Boobie Dixon while Kounandijo and Richardson are still behind the more versatile Chris Hairston and Kraig Urbik on the offensive line. Cockrell was inactive in Week 2 and didn't play a snap while suiting up for the injured Stephon GIlmore in Week 1.
Here is the list of inactives for the San Diego Chargers. Melvin Ingram doesn't appear because he was placed on Injured Reserve Friday.
Today's inactives: Dontrelle Inman, Chris Davis, Steve Williams, Ryan Mathews, Ricardo Mathews and Ryan Carrethers. Ingram on IR to Return.
